She attended Irwin Park Elementary and graduated from Hillside Secondary in 1978. Susan loves the outdoors including boating, hiking, snowshoeing, all-weather walking and more. An avid hiker of the local & international mountains and trails, Susan has achieved Everest Base Camp hiking via the Khumbu Trail in Nepalese Himalaya, hiked to Macchu Picchu via the Inca Trail, walked 790km on the Camino de Santiago in Northern Spain, hiked to the base of the west Lion, hiked to Joffre Lakes, been to the craters edge on Mount St. Helen's and participated in many more spectacular pursuits!
